- Explain the 2 line phone a little more. Is it a two line phone, or a
- small PBX phone system? How are you splitting the lines into line 1 and
- line 2 to get to the modem?

- On many 2 line phone systems the lines on your phone jack may be split by
- the phone and when you split the lines your not connecting to the correct
- wires.

- If you have a small PBX (i.e. AT&T Merlin) the telephone set lines are not
- compatible with modems.
